Nathaniel Miles

Nathaniel “Nate” Miles is a highly respected leader with over 30 years of experience in the national healthcare, community, and non-profit sectors. As the former Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Eli Lilly and Company, Nate was a driving force in public policy, healthcare innovation, and business development, managing over $100 million in annual revenues. He is recognized for building effective coalitions and generating support from both traditional and non-traditional allies.

Before joining Eli Lilly, Nate played a pivotal role in securing $125 million for the expansion of the Washington State Convention and Trade Center and earned bipartisan acclaim as Chief Legislative Aide for Senator George Fleming in the 1980s.

Nate has held various leadership roles, serving on boards and advising national leaders, including as a White House Conferee on International Trade. His community leadership includes involvement with organizations such as the University of Washington Foundation, Medical Teams International, and the NAACP Special Contributions Fund.

With over 300 awards to his name, Nate is a distinguished graduate of the University of Washington and has dedicated his career to making a lasting impact in healthcare and civic engagement. He is married with three adult children.
