Alicia Tokay's path to Unified Care Hospice has been guided by her heart for people and a deep belief in compassionate care. Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to a Malaysian Chinese/Portuguese father and a Korean mother, Alicia's early years were spent in Seoul, Korea, before she moved to Las Vegas at the age of 6. Her journey took her from Clark High School to UNLV, where she pursued her studies before discovering her passion for massage therapy at the Dahan Massage Institute. This led her to London, where she worked with Steiner spas on cruise ships, gaining life-changing experiences and the opportunity to travel the world.
In 2011, Alicia made a transition into healthcare, starting as a Community Liaison at Montevista Behavioral Health Hospital. She later helped open the Gero psych unit at Seven Hills Behavioral Hospital. It was during this time that she found her calling in hospice care, realizing that the end-of-life stage was a profoundly important moment where patients and families needed both comfort and understanding. After expanding her skills in marketing and business development, Alicia returned to hospice care with the same dedication and compassion she's always felt toward supporting those in need.
As the Director of Marketing & Sales at Unified Care Hospice, Alicia builds lasting relationships with referral sources while expanding our reach in the community. Her role is driven by a commitment to helping others find the support and peace they need during life's most delicate moments. Alicia's approach is guided by Unified Care's philosophy of holistic support, valuing not only the physical well-being of our patients but also their emotional and spiritual needs. She sees each relationship as a chance to show that people are not alone, no matter where they are on their journey.
Outside of her professional life, Alicia is a proud Army mom to a 20-year-old soldier and a loving mother to a 16-year-old daughter attending the School of the Arts. Alicia's personal and professional experiences have shaped her understanding that family is the foundation of life's best moments—and she brings that understanding into everything she does at Unified Care Hospice as the Director of Marketing and Sales.
